PARTY IT UP!!!

hey! welcome back!

Today's post is about AAA!! My favorite Japanese band!

They just did their tour for 2013 called "Eighth Wonder"!

I really wanted to come, but I cant! (cox it's in Japan and I'm in Indonesia, duh!)

So i googled, youtubed (?), etc to find out more about the tour.

And I stumbled into some fancams, or sometimes original DVD version clips of the tour.

I saw the DVD is sold at ebay etc and I really really really want to but it but....

For some reasons, I can't.

So I just have to be satisfied with the previews / clips..

Role Model ♡

 Hey guys! Welcome back to the amazing world of... world? LOL.

This time, it's about my recent role model(s), which all of them are Japanese models~

I'm really into ViVi and Seventeen recently, IDK why tho. I used to worship Popteen, KERA, Ageha, but i think time changes everything (lol. being dramatic?) and everything changes since the attack of the fire nation (AVATAR XDDD!!)...

Maybe since Popsister ended, I've been searching for other role magz, (Tsubasa Masuwaka was in Popsister and she's my forever role model) and I read few magz such as Ray, non-no, egg, etc as a replacement but none of them is my style. Like I said before, I used to worship Popteen, but since Okaire's graduation, well the mag just bcm "meh" for me (Okarie's style is different and pretty inspiring for me, so.. yeah!).

One day, when I was traveling to Singapore, in my last day there I went to the bookstore on the airport and saw this ViVi magazine. There are 2 of them, one of them is in Japanese and one is in English, obviously I picked the English one cox I can't read Japanese. I saw few inspiring models there and the style is pretty much"me", I fell in love with this mag since the first page (hahahas XD).

There's one time when I was playing with my iPad and found out that Seventeen is available on the appstore, so I download it rightaway. In the app, I just can download the "free preview" cox I didn't fill in the credit card part. But there's one edition for free, it's the September edition, but I thought, "why not?" so I downloaded it and all the free previews. And I instantly fell in love with them too! They have this hair arrange section which most of them are so casual and simple, so that I won't look weird when trying to do my hair like it, and get weird looks from ppl.

Also, I recently went to kinokuniya and bought another edition of ViVi! Which is the November editon, I know, that's pretty late... But I got free suspender! And the mag is half the price! So... WHY NOT LOL! I was really confused what edition to buy, but thanks to my sis-in-law, I got the Nov edition and if I think about it, that's a really good choice. (Cox the Jan and Feb edition doesn;t hv any free stuff).

Back to the main topic, role model. So here are my role models!

 

The fist one is, Reina Triendl!

She's born in Austria, and she's a mixed blood. 

She models for ViVi.

And I heard she's also an actress 

but I dunno what dorama she's in...

I found her style really cute and inspiring (> <)

The same as Reina,

She's also play for a dorama

called "Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo".

She's so pretty and I love her style so much!

I don't really like her attitude and her lies

but she's cute and has a really good fashion style~

I heard she'll be modeling for Popteen.

She models for Candydoll, which produced by Tsubasa.

She used to model for Popsister.

She has her own makeup line, false lashes line,

stocking/socks line, eyeglasses line, and clothing line.

 She's a petite model and she was married and has a son.

She's also a singer in the name of "Milky Bunny"

NEO GAL, the new gyaru

Hi, I'm back!!!

Today's post is gonna be about "NEO GAL"!

Maybe some of you have heard about it (or not). The same as my title today, NEO GAL is the new gyaru and is really popular in Japan right now.

All of us must be familiar with these gyaru models and their typical gyaru style :

• big dolly eyes
• dramatic lashes
• bottom/lower lashes is a MUST
• pale lips
• dramatic nails
• big circle lens
• big puffy (mostly blonde) hair

But the new gyaru, which is NEO GAL is different!!!!!

Forget all those dramatic lashes, big puffy hair and the complicated nails! NEO GAL's style is simple and you can wear it daily without getting looks from other people. Most people said that NEO GAL is similar to ulzzang from Korea, but actually it's not. Here's an example of NEO GAL :













From the pictures above we can see the difference between the old gyaru and NEO GAL, which are..

• NEO GAL's makeup (especially eye makeup) is not as dramatic as the old gyaru. They sometimes still use false lashes but not as extreme as it was before.
• We can consentrate on our lip makeup and put on some bold colors. The old gyaru style has pink lips because they already got a heavy eye makeup.
• Their fashion style is simpler and comfy, rather than the old gyaru style's.
• They tend to accessorize more.
• Hair-do is also easier to follow, cuter, and simple.

However, like I've said before, most people mistook NEO GAL as ulzzang or even worse, said that NEO GAL = ULZZANG!


Lemme get this straight,
NEO GAL isn't ulzzang. If you see it carefully you can see the difference. For example, Ulzzang tend to focus their makeup on the eyeliner shapes when NEO GAL focuses on the lipcolor (sometimes shadow or coloured eyeliner). And for me personally, Ulzzang fashion is too monotonous. But NEO GAL is different, fun, and weird LOL.



Actually, I've been searching for this style FOREVER! Although I love gyaru, I find their fashion and makeup style really weird to follow in my country and I always get weird looks from people. But not with NEO GAL!


What's your opinion? Do you like NEO GAL? Or do you prefer the old gyaru style? Or maybe neither/both?

new interest!

Not long ago, one of my subscription gone trough a makeover! She went from gyaru style to doll style!

Doll style isn't dolly style, it's somehow different. Dolly style is similar to lolita (classic, sweet, etc), you wear cute fluffy dresses with laces and ribbons (reference: hime gyarus) or pastel coloured blouse with skirts, and rocking the doe eyed yet still natural (or dramatic, your choice) makeup. You try to look like a doll-like human, or you just want to look cute; sweet and innocent~

But for 'doll' style.. You try to look like a human-like doll. It's kind of hard to explain but it's like you're trying to become a doll or something, if that makes sense? Fair skin, BIG doll eyes, small nose, rosy cheeks, small mouth, who wouldn't want that! But if you're exaggerating these features, such as overly big eyes which makes people creeped out, blank eyes to the camera... CONGRATULATIONS! You just made yourself a self-doll!

Back to our topic,

So, I was curious about her change; she stated that she's more into BJDs than gyarus; then I did some research. And I saw these...!!

While I was browsing through the images, I remember one anime which have relation to these BJDs!

And now, I've found myself drawn into these BJDs also!!! I also noticed their cute gradient lips, maybe the famous gradient lips are inspired by them > < !

I'm planning to do my makeup like they all do, but I want to toned it down a bit so it would looks natural and suitable for daily basis. Wish me luck? LOL

5 Beauty Basic Things I Can't Live Without!

I know, I know... It's been a while now. I've been busy with school and stuff (eat, sleep, shopping LOL) and I feel kinda bad about it. So today I'm gonna talk about few things that I can't live without, obviously beauty related laah (ﾉ≧3≦)ﾉ but only the main/basic ones. The real list is waay too long for this night typing time (yep, I type this in the middle of the night LOL).

LET'S GET STARTED, ne?

1. Double Eyelid Tapes  \(//∇//)\

 Since I'm considered as monolid, I use tapes EVERY SINGLE DAY in my life! (except for some other time when I forgot to bring my tapes LOLs). I usually use the normal tapes, but since recently I use my all-trusted double sided tapes. It may be quite difficult and annoying to use but the effect's quite nice, depends on how you use and positioned the tapes. There are few types of double eyelid tapes but I'll get into that another time (too lazy ehh > <)

2.  Lip Balms


I tend to have dry lips so I always bring lip balms everywhere hahahas. I have plenty of them and... I lost them many times also ( p′︵‵。). It's quite annoying when you have dry lips, so don't forget to bring these babies, k?

3. Hair Milk


I always use these magical milk (?) every time after  washing my hair. It gives the smooth and airy feel, also holds your hairstyle for a long time. Psst! It also gives volume to my thin hair and long lasting also cox you only need tiny amount for your hair (depends on how long your hair is). This product isn't sold in my country (Indonesia) and I bought it few months ago in Watsons Singapore for S$10. Reaaally recommended!! Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ

4. Lip Colour











Cox my lips are dry, they tend to be really pale so I need tinted lip balms or most of the times, lip tints to give my lips a bit of colour. I prefer using lip tints than tinted lip balms or lip stick cox they stay longer and you can build up the colour bit by bit.

 5. Contact Lenses
 
I also always use contact lenses and this, (geo mimi bambi chocolate brown) is the one I'm currently using, beside the acuvue moist one. I have bad eyesight and my mom won't let me use glasses. (LOL that explains them all). And I use contact lenses, especially circle lenses to enlarge my small eyes hahhas.


And that's basically all the basic products that I can't live without. I'll post the full list another time, K? Cox the full list is too long and I'm too lazy to do it today hahahs. Hope this help any of you guys~
